    I don't think I've ever had a stout from Ommegang before...I wasn't expecting much and this is pretty good...especially when the front of the can ingredients are natural flavors and carmel color

    Dinner was pretty easy to make and was quite savory. My recipe was based on this:

    However, I added onions, some Thai chilies and I used black soy sauce instead of Oyster sauce.

    Tip - it helps to freeze the sausage a bit so it's easier to slice into thin slices.

    ...been trying for a couple of days to get Mrs. BeerGoot get some fish - I love halibut and cod -- she said too expensive for the halibut - true - but a good piece of fish is worth it -- we haven't had swordfish in ages, and I love a good meaty dark fish like swordfish...bought some farm raised Atlantic salmon for smoking today, perhaps I need to go back to the grocery and find a nice piece of fish just for simple grilling and a green salad of some sort...thanx for the marinade recipe...
