Troegs Releases an Oktoberfest

I posted a similar thought yesterday in another thread:

We’ve discussed this beer quite a bit recently in the NE lager talk thread. It appears to be the same recipe form the marzen they put in the mixed fall pack.

I would certainly purchase some if it were available in Florida. I fondly recall traveling to Jungle Jim's in the Cincinnati, Ohio area from Louisville and buying a lot of Troegs.

 

I'm disappointed that they're selling it in 12oz. packaging. 12oz. looks stupid in my stein or my mini-maßkrug. (Unfortunately, I haven't seen an Oktoberfest in a bigger package around here in a long time.)

 

I had a pint of Troeg's Oktoberfest at the brewery in Hershey yesterday. Excellent, very satisfying.

Damn…Was looking forward to this.

You just made my day!!! I can’t believe they went cans this year.

My Oktoberfest purchases have become more selective over the years partly because of my love for this beer.

Patiently waits for this to show up…

 

I am a little surprised this beer is not already out, didn’t Weihenstephaner get the memo that due to the recent pandemic that Oktoberfest is ‘early this year?

Unfortunately, Naples is several hours from my location in the Florida Panhandle.
