I posted a similar thought yesterday in another thread:

“A couple/few years ago when Stoudts was no longer producing beers including their Oktoberfest I thought that maybe Troegs would 'fill that vacuum' but they didn't (at that time).

    Cheers!

P.S. There are lots of locally produced high quality Oktoberfest beers and every year Sly Fox gets the majority of my Oktoberfest budget.”

I would certainly purchase some if it were available in Florida. I fondly recall traveling to Jungle Jim's in the Cincinnati, Ohio area from Louisville and buying a lot of Troegs.

I'm disappointed that they're selling it in 12oz. packaging. 12oz. looks stupid in my stein or my mini-maßkrug. (Unfortunately, I haven't seen an Oktoberfest in a bigger package around here in a long time.)

I had a pint of Troeg's Oktoberfest at the brewery in Hershey yesterday. Excellent, very satisfying.

“Ringing in at 6.1% ABV, this toasty lager boasts notes of sweet caramel, fresh-baked bread, and flowering herbs.”

    Damn…Was looking forward to this.

Well, this year Weihenstephaner can 'scratch your itch' since their Festbier is now available in 500 ml cans:

Now you can 'fill up' your mini-maßkrug.

    Prost!

You just made my day!!! I can’t believe they went cans this year.

My Oktoberfest purchases have become more selective over the years partly because of my love for this beer.

Patiently waits for this to show up…

Unfortunately, Naples is several hours from my location in the Florida Panhandle.
