    Didn't like my first bottle straight from the bottle, to much carbonation. Enjoying the glass pours since bottle number 2 of 12.

    Always liked the NBC OG Show better.

    look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.25

    Coal-black body, opaque; thin, light khaki colored head. Rich dark chocolate nose with a touch of coffee in the background. Incredibly well-balanced mixture of dark, bitter chocolate and dark roast coffee; sublime bitter undercurrent coursing through the sweetness. Heavy body; very silky and slippery; big residual sugar presence offset with a subtle dryness.

    I love a beer with richness and subtly that gently unveils an incredible depth and complexity of character. The 14% ABV is deftly hidden behind the malts and coffee. A fantastic imperial coffee stout.

    ...walked the dog and wife, made up more hummingbird sugar water, did a few household cleaning chores and minor repairs; morning stretches done to limber up the body...a mid-morning coffee break is in order...:grin:

    Lagunitas IPA pour moi, merci.

    Just pairing it with what appears to be more another snack before dinner than anything but I’m not even sure I’ll eat more tonight. It’s still kind of hot and my appetite has decreased (unlike my beer belly :slight_frown: )

    I'm actually cutting back a little on the heavy beers this month. I don't mis the alcohol. But when I see something like this in the supermarket; forget about that for a day :slight_smile:
