    Not tasted Amstel light so far, but I guess they made that taste way too sweet.
    Regular Amstel is good value for money beer around here.
    Somewhat less bitter compared to Heineken, and also less chemical in taste.

    look: 3.75 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4
    Outstanding crystal clear body, copper body; thin ring of foam circling the glass. Faint yet alluring aroma; malty and herbal; basil. Incredible taste; light malt and fresh garden herbs; mild caramel; moderate to bold hop bitterness. Medium heavy body; velvety; a bit sweet with a light dryness at the finish.

    I'm not a huge fan of imperial lagers yet this beer makes the cut. It is smooth and robust, not too boozy, and goes down easily. Nicely done!

    Clear, dark brown body; thin, wispy, off-white head. Splended roasted malr nose. Classic English brown ale taste; muted roasted grain and a hint of roasted nuts; miderate bitterness. Medium-light body; light overall smoothness; fine residual sugar note, lightly sweet with an oh-so subtle dryness near the finish

    I wonder if this isn't basically the same brown ale the brewery used to serve when they had a hand-pumped beer engine. Regardless, the beer is a fine example of a no-nonsense old school dark ale. Simple yet refined.

    Best Mexi lager iv had. Tastes like it's got lime and salt added but yellow corn is the only adjunct. Love what they did with this 1. Yellow corn, Pilsner malt and whatever strain of yeast they used from Mexico makes for a nice refreshing lager.

    Doubled up into my huge spieglau "American wheat beer" glass. This glass will hold 750mL 2 330mL bottles with a big head didn't even fill it.

    But damn this is a clean and refreshing beer. After wynkoop last night its nice to go for some traditional lighter beers.

    Little CT run today that was slighty dissapointing. Picked up this and one other new one. Unbearable outside right now. Im trying to get my outdoor cat Iris in because shes panting. So far no way.[​IMG]

    Half Acre Bodem IPA (Idaho 7, Mosaic cryo, Cashmere). Big pineapple, cantaloupe, grapefruit rind, mango rind, some apricot, some lemon, herbaceous dankness, pine resin. A great year-round offering by Half Acre.

    The couch is my preference. Sometimes my bed even when I was posting from it late in the evening.

    No one has done better yet than @beergoot shower beer pictures though.
