I don't really drink much Aslin these days, but this one and the previous are two that I really enjoy, especially the dry-hopped versions. Master of Karate. Peace...

    Happy Tuesday, Beer Fam!

These warm in SD is something I’m not used to even though I’ve lived here majority of my life. Cooling down with this straight from the can.

Harland Brewing, “Lilikoi Fruited Sour Ale,” @6% ABV. So darn refreshing! Cheers!

I saw this today on Totalwine's site ..

I don't know if you can still get it out west, but there's none to be had around here. I've heard the following:

    1. From the distributor - I know they had a bad batch.

    2. From CBC themselves - we don't even have cans available at the brewery, we're waiting for the canning line to catch up with demand. However we have it on tap and in growlers

My gut feeling tells me that both are probably true since there has never been a shortage of this beer since I started drinking it. So it sounds like we might be seeing it again in September - fingers crossed. Cheers my friend!

in a recent conversation some of these issues were the topic, the packaged, distributed product is more than complicated this year. Packaging material, My sweetheart is a buyer of a variety of board stock required to make that kind of paperboard box. (and Board Games!) She is buying for next year!
Printing is the same. 12 0z and 16 oz cans are now more difficult on the "short Market"
And then theres the 3 tier BS here in Mass, Distribution is the swamp, PERIOD!
Distributors look for large volumes, easy sales, that is an inherent tension.
That said, I look forward to the Return.
A great beer held hostage in the market.
    Cheers

I found some 1623 Pilsner and Stout in the bargain bin at my local beer store.
The Pils was about as good as it gets, very well made.
    After that I had:
The Dry Irish stout was the most quaffable Stout I've ever had.
Seriously, you could drink this stuff at the beach! Tasty and super smooth, it is the perfect Summer Stout!
At a buck fidy a pop, even better yet!
I found myself a new favorite Summer Stout.
