    A nice pairing after a fairly easy work day.

    The light smoke and brine of the Highland Park feeds into the tangy sweetness of North Coast’s Old Stock Ale well.

    The GF found out our girl cat apparently has diabetes. Diet food has to eaten in the AM before a shot, so we are hiding all food overnight. Both cats are now asking us, “what the f—?” as soon as they notice us moving in the morning.

    Proper hauls don't come easy to me right now because of my broken clavicle, but I happened to pass by this Polish grocery store in my area today and was delighted to find a few craft styles among the sea of cheap lagers.

    Hey, it's better than nothing, I take what I can get and honestly, this one was pretty drinkable, not half bad, really.

    First coat of white topside paint on the hull of the 1956 Gibbs Rocket - was hoping to just be able to varnish the outside, but the birch wood veneer was in pretty rough shape - the second coat will go on Friday, then the varnishing of the mahogany interior will commence.....a beer to celebrate some good progress!
