Same. Although I still do here and there with local stuff I like). I got the Stone IPA mix 12 pack for $6 less than the Other Half four packs in the store. Delicious (no pun intended).

Virtually impossible to get - TotalWine says they're expecting some in September. I bought the last 4 packs there and i asked a guy who was up on a small ladder if he knew where it was. He said I don't work here, but that's my product (Hippie Chick of course). I asked him why it was so difficult to find all of a sudden and he said he didn't know but heard they had a bad batch. Hmm?

So I called the brewery and she told me that they don't even have cans at the brewery, they're waiting for the canning line to catch up to the demand. So bottom line, I don't know what the real story is. I also heard that it's difficult to get cans now.

[IMG] Dancing Gnome “Lustra” APA. Really good! Just found out the venue we have to pick up our daughter and her friends , Fillmore Foundry, is right next to Other Half Philly!

Most of my splurges of late have been Maine Beer Company IPAs/pale ales. Thing is I have hardly ever been disappointed despite the cost. Their stuff, at least in Richmond, is not cheap.

I still do the Veil thing and even stuff from out of state. Many are pricey. Sometimes it works out. Other times not.

Not a bad way to start the weekend. Hop Butcher The Great Soapbox Orators. Another great NEIPA from them. I love it when stuff lands in St. Louis.

Good evening, all! New Trappist brew/brewery: Tynt Meadow, from Mount Saint Bernard Abbey, England. This leaves only Westy on my Trappist quest, if you don't count Mont des Cats and Cardeña. I'm getting ready to pair this with sausages and cheese, and don't try to stop me. Cheers! :beers:

I do enjoy Veil brews but lately have been getting addicted to Maine Beer Company IPAs and pale ales.

Dude, maybe you read I am going to be a grandpa again in about two weeks. Just to let you know my sister and her Budweiser husband in Pennsylvania are doing fine. Not sure they want me to visit again!

Sweet - that's a great tune!! Cathy Dennis did a great version of it that I really like. Cheers to Ruby!

I will admit that I've always had a crush on Cathy Dennis

Next up is a big barrel-aged barleywine. Monolith from Howe Sound Brewing in British Columbia, Canada. Incredibly rich beer. Amazing. Cheers all.

Switching gears. Not an IPA. I have not had this beer in awhile. A Belgian Wit brewed by Port City.

Meier's Creek Brewing, Henry Fjord. I'm not sure what makes this a "Scandinavian pale ale" But it tastes good!

Either way, you can't beat live entertainment. My preference is horns over voices, but that's picking nits. Love to see the Mangione trumpet in action!

I marched to some Mangione tunes about a hundred years ago on Contra, including this one. It is quite the jam after about 1:35 or so.

now back to your regularly scheduled beers.
