Unfortunately, no. Lived in PHX for many years where it was distributed but was always gone when searching for it. Live in Western NC and from what i understand it is not available here or in SC. Other than a trade not sure how i could get it :whale2:
    Cheers!

@micada Yes the aging theme was going thru my head as i was sipping this. Looked back at my three WWS samples over the years and was finding it hot even with 6-7 years of aging. Thanks for the advice, thinking i should be able to find some with my next trip back to PHX at some point in the next year or so.
    Cheers!

Might be my favorite from Struise. If you haven't tried the base stout, Black Albert, try to find one. It's incredible and one of the best non-BA stouts that I have ever had.

I will if I see it, but I haven't seen De Stuise in PA for some time. In Maine I found Pannepot and Reserva, Clash of the Titans both Grand and Special Reserva, plus Cuvee Delphine. Cheaper than Struise used to be in PA too, I'm pretty stoked to bring some home.

Good on them. I had a brewery in OH get right back, ask what beer I wanted as a replacer and now months later I have no beer and contact has been stopped. I mentioned it to my brother in law and he says he knows the guy. Will see how that goes. Hope you get some cool stuff.

    Enjoy

    Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout
Well made stout with perfect balance of Barrel and a base stout. What everyone would call a good complex BA Stout and what i would call "Gimme more of this now!"
The finish on this is excellent .

I think my oldest on the shelf right now is 2016, so still some waiting to do. I had a 64 oz growler of a 10 year old keg and it really was the most delicious non-adjuncted, non-barreled stout I’ve had. PM me in three or four years. I bought sooooo many of them. LOL!

    Will do!

    :joy::joy::joy:

Currently drinking one of the most delicious adjuncted stouts I've ever had in my life( cocoa and vanilla). Forgot i opened one during the blackout and out it back in the fridge after a few ounces a few days ago in favor of bourbon .
A big 16.9% Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout from Oddside Ales. @unlikelyspiderperson knows what i mean.
    Twelfth Anniversary.
This thing is up and down , slap your cheeks closed good.
Thanks to @BigIronH for sending me a couple more of these.

I got you brother! If you’re going to start drinking adjuncted stouts, we have ourselves a whole new trading avenue. I’m tempted to make the drive again for more Mortalis Hazel. It’s basic stout with hazelnut. Prison City BA wham whams. BBA Coconut and vanilla but very subtle.

$25 for a 1oz pour…it’s really a different brew. More spirit than beer, IMO, but I’m tempted to try a bigger taste to get a better flavor profile. We have lots around here now. Used to be a desert, but even Wegman’s had it at one point.

Oh , not there yet, Im not ready for all of that stuff!
I tried a hazelnut beer once and it tasted like cheap gas station syrup pump.
Prison BoomBoom sounds like id be up for though!
I forget if Santas Little Helper has hazelnut but i can tolerate that on a freezing winter night( also 3 bucks at trader joes when its around!)

I think im gonna get a Benthic in the mail soon ( i think) and that's already on the adventurous side for me even now drinking this 12th Anniv. I think Benthic is only coffee and coconut.
Adjuncts is too much to keep up with! I cant even remember what's what!
The vanilla is very muted in this from what i assume is the high abv or good amount of cocoa.
All of the other vanilla adjuncted beers i have tried were horrible.
Oddside makes great Ba Stouts if ta havent tried. Double Oaked Deletrious is also great.

8oz format should be the norm for pastry stouts. This is pretty good but much more would be too much

I love Hoppin Frogs 8oz format on Q.O.R.I.S the Quasher . While i would still slam a 12 or 16 oz of it..im sure my wife appreciates it's only 8oz :rofl:

Mortalis is up and coming as a contender. You’ll see. Tavour is doing a lot of their sours, which are killer fruited monsters, but their BA stouts are no slouches either.

    No rush!
I still haven't been able to find a flat rate box at the 3 spots i Visit. I know i can order them online to get delivered free but i dont want ten of them!

And we're in the midst of horrible heat here so leaving the house has been the LEAST of my worries lately. :weary:

And as always i know there will be some great stuff in the box you send.

Yeah, we finally got a break from the oppressive heat, so a beer at least stands a chance of making it cross-country w/o exploding!

A 2016 bottle. Kept in my cellar all this time and still drinking fabulous. Not a lot of RIS available in my neck of the woods, I had the chance to order a case from Ontario in 2017 and have mostly been hoarding them since then. Time to drink up and finish the last few bottles.
