Well I tried real hard to hold off on this one but I've got little self control - especially with Oktoberfest beers. Saw these pint cans in the local bottle shop about two weeks ago and grabbed some because I was afraid they'll get gone. Have any of you gone into the store looking for one thing, seeing something you really want buy but passed it up thinking you'd come back a week or two later to buy it. Then you go back and it's all gone. It's happened to me quite a few times. I hate that. I couldn't wait until September to drink a Weihenstephaner Festbier. It's easy to see how this is essentially a strong version of their Helles. Love it! Prost!





Thankful to be on the backside of this Friday...

Posted up on my break with a sample can of Citramax by Market Garden. Had it before, remains good but average.

 

I hope you have a large cellar and you outlive all the beers in it.

Couple years ago I bought a sticker in Seatle with 'Save the Earth! It is where all the beers are' on it. Could not find it right away in the mess around here. But I kept it to put on my new macbook.

They must have scaled up production massively on this. I hadn't seen it in the wild until about 6 months ago. Now I see it all the time and you have it in the Netherlands...

 

So, should we be concerned about this CO2 shortage thing. I heard one brewery here in Atlanta had to shut down for a few days. I don't think any of the breweries around here do spunding, probably not cost effective. I've read Nitrogen may be a good substitute.

Fresh batch, and it’s quite tasty, if seeming just a wee bit sweet. Have last year’s batch fir a comparison at some point.
