When drinking at home what is your minimum amount of cans/bottles in your beer fridge before going out for a beer run? What’s your maximum? Or are you fly by day?
When I get down to 15-20 cans I make my beer run. And that’s usually on a Friday. My max use to be 45+. It’s down to 32+. I must be cutting back. Or drinking more. Or getting old er.

I have the at home cellar with over 500 bottles and 50+ cans on any given day. These days I don't do beer runs as much as I try and do beer sales to thin the cellar a tad! Cheers!

I don’t really have a system, if I see something interesting at the beer store, I usually grab it. I have been trying to drink down the beer fridge lately, and I probably have around 30 beers, not including my wife’s Coronas. I feel like it’s getting a little too low for my liking.

I usually have a steady stock of yuengling or high life in the fridge. I’ll make a run if I’m craving something hoppy or looking for seasonals.

The beer fridge must contain atleast one Tropicalia at all times or an alarm sounds, if it drops to zero the National Guard is called in.

    Or so I believe…

Not a number per se but I need to have variety. At a minimum an IPA, porter or stout, a belgian or saisson and some kind of lager. If my variety is out of line I'll buy some more. As far as maximum, once I hit 60 it's time to dwindle the stash down to a manageable level.

I'm a hoarder. I buy beer and then come home to no room in the fridge. It's a neat little cycle.

Exactly. My wife actually tells me to drink more so that we can clear some space! I really just need to consume MORE than I buy, but that's tough. First world problems!

Packing up tonight to head home tomorrow, we probably have enough room for the souvenir beer...

Heh, with 6 Corny kegs on tap on my Keezer, I only ever buy a few lawnmower beers or specialties as desired.
I would say if I'm under a 6pk of lawnmower beer, it's time to grab more. I never run out!
I like my versions of Cloned recipes better than the breweries version most times anyways, but this is not a home brew forum.

    I have that same problem
At the moment i have maybe 100-120 beers ( i think) but 95% of them are barrel aged beasts that i dont care to drink on a Wednesday so i end up buying more shit a lot. Problem is a lot of times the shit i end up buying is also shit i won't drink on aa Tuesday. Its a stupid problem i wish i didnt have.

I'm more of a beer buyer than drinker. As such I ALWAYS have 50 beers around at least.

I don't make beer runs much any more. I have a metric assload of stuff in the cellar and fridge. I'm out of room because I just don't drink that often these days. I'm trying not to hoard any more stuff. I could probably throw one hell of a block party if I wasn't so antisocial. It's just as well, since most everybody on the block drinks macro swill. (Based on the litter I've seen in the street, anyway.)

Cellar I like to keep 10-15 variety of beers in reserve. Fridge, when I’m down to only 3-5 different cans/different styles, I’ll make a beer run. Usually try to keep a weekly beer run around $30 if I can.

Neither minimum or maximum. I don't look and say, "oh no, down to 40 bottles" and go and buy more. I just buy something that I like if and when I see it. My garage fridge typically has 40-60 bottles and cans at any one time

Think I'm on my way to zero yet again. Now are left those I planned to have at the NBWs, but looks most will be drunk and rated in all quietness. Planning my next move though. The fridge takes at least 50 beers, think I have maxed at around 60. My regular orders are in the 30-40 area, think that will be the case also next time.
