Happy Saturday.....nice walk earlier, and some boat work - trying to get the last few things done before the forecasted rains come tonight through Monday - almost there!

4 coats of varnish on all mahogany surfaces - only one coat on the birch veneer interior (one more today hopefully)....working on a flag pole for the front light, and some other trim / tweaks

Good afternoon BAs! Went into town with Mrs. Z today and did some sightseeing and a lot of walking. Home now with “Transient” a DDH Hazy IPA by Northern Monk, Leeds, UK:




Well balanced with Strata on lead and Citra in second chair. Bright orange, melon, passion fruit and a bit earthy. A very tasty IPA from an awesome UK brewer.

We toured Winchester Cathedral in 2018, but wanted to revisit today:








It is huge and old and super cool…a must see and worthy of a day trip from London (one hour by train).

best video I could find for father in law video,,, YouTube had many interesting Japanese FIL themed vids…. Clearly against the parameters of the VB!

 

Didn’t do a morning beer. Waited until the daughter’s gymnastics class to grab a Lagunitas Lil Sumpin’ and play two games of Golden Tee at the pub next door. I do just as terrible at that as I do at real golf, just quicker and with less exertion.
