    Good morning BAs! Lovely cool upper 50s morning in the countryside…drinking Northern Monk’s “Order Of The Faith” a DDH hazy IPA which the brewer suggests is a hybrid between a WC and NE IPA:

    Very tasty citrus hops. Not really either style, imo, but a crushable light opaque IPA. Thoughts over on the NBW thread.

    Nothing going on today. We’ll probably sit around and read the papers. Cheers and have a great Sunday y’all!

    Good day BAs! Thanks go to @DoctorZombies for starting today's thread! Another coolish day here in the wilds of NW PA - Tomatoes are finally beginning to ripen - orange and red spots showing up in the forest of greenery - watch out for snakes! (for any other MST3K fans out there).
    We got back from MI last night - rain from Ann Arbor to east of Toledo ("TolEEEE - doe", as my GPS pronounces it) after attending the Grand Rapids AQS show - Mrs Lizard actually attended a class this time! I really don't mind going to the shows - some of the quilts are certainly beautiful - and I get a lot of reading/sleeping time in while Mrs. Lizard searches the vendor area for "bargains". Plus, she feels guilty (with no help from me) for making me go, so I get some supervised time in beer stores and we get to eat in an occasional brewpub or two.

    Today's New Breakfast Brew is one I had on site at Brewery Vivant in Grand Rapids that I liked enough to pick up a four-pack to bring home:

    Actually much better than the base beer - distinctly tart and tangerine-tasting! Rating 3.97, rDev -0.5%.

    Holy shit, the summer is gone and my kids are starting school Tuesday. I never thought I’d ever even have kids, let alone see one of them make it to eighth grade. I’m gonna be a fucking wreck next year, brethren. So since it’s a week I won’t be able to drink during the morning between getting people ready for school and four hour work training sessions, here’s my AM cheers for a while.

    Good morning, BAs! My first can of this (Another Round on the House) exploded when I opened it, gushing everywhere. What little I salvaged was flat and lifeless. Giving it another chance, and this has me optimistic that I can at least give it a review.

    Heady Topper from the can.
    Cost me an arm and a leg to get this one. But since there is no real summer vacation (again) this year, I allowed myself some pricy beers. This one was on my list for years. No regrets :slight_smile:

    I finally broke down and bought a mini fridge to put in the closet. This allowed me to nearly clean out the kitchen fridge, and keep all the IPAs and sours upstairs. Still have to run downstairs for glasses.
