And access to the 2023 DLD in person fest that will be a throwback to the original and will take place in the distillery and be limited to the 500 people who bought DLD packages this year.

Then DLD 2024 will have 20,000 people, also featuring throwback counterfeit tickets. A PDF will be provided so you can print your own tickets at home. No more groups just one big line. Also the bottle sales line actually leads to the porta potties but you won’t know that until after an hour in line. The brewpub will secretly reopen for the event but there will be a 6 hour wait for a table.

 

I wonder when those 2023 pre-sale codes will actually go out. I'm assuming in spring when it's getting closer to the fest?

I've felt like FFF have been gods of European styles for a while now but I've never been going back to Munsterfest as much as I have this year. 12oz bottles probably was a smart move

 

Anyone seen Crushing Mass out in the wild yet?

 

negative. been checking Floyds’ beer locator like 6 times a day every day for the past couple days too.

 

couldn’t agree more. been enjoying the shit out of that one. also, i’m all about this High Speed Steel.

 

I'm hoping that hits our market.. I'm southern Indiana/Louisville Metro so maybe..

Also.. anyone made it to the pub for Crushing Mass? Any difference in batch 2 vs 1?

 

Kiosk employee said it's thicker bodied than b1. I couldn't tell a difference and b2 is pretty darn good!

 

Holy $&!t! Just had a Cheer Team…best new (for me) IPA I’ve had this year, and it’s not that close.

 

picked up a 4pk the other day canned 8/8 but haven’t cracked one yet. maybe tonight

 

Hard to believe that beer came out 4 year ago. What I find extremely disappointing is that they canned it this go around and I hope this isn't a permanent shift away from the stubby 16oz bottles they've been using the last few years.

 

i would not expect that to be put into those 500mL bottles again. those bottles seemed like they were used for experimental batches / small batches that were sold at the kiosk only. even that has kind of gone away. seems like now those experimental batches are growler only from the kiosk. once a beer gets a 2nd batch run and hits distro it seems to either hit 12oz bottles (4 or 6pk) or 16oz cans (4pk) or 12oz cans (6pk or in a few cases 12pks).

even the last few years it was moved to 12oz bottle 4pks and now 16oz can 4pks.

 

Crushing Mass is solid once again. Whoever said it had a little more body, I guess I can talk myself into believing that, but I honestly don't remember or care, it's good

 

idk if it’s better than last year but it’s not worse - still the best BA coffee stout out there since last fall. cheers FFF fans!
