    I like a good beer buzz early in the morning.

    Stole this line from Sheryl Crow the other day. Drinking SNAPPY to paraphrase tolar111.

    Beside this blatant plagiarism, later this afternoon we’re going to visit a friend who managed to break his two ankles and heel in an accident. He’s out of the hospital since last Monday and probably on some painkillers or downers. We bought some chocolates and candies.

    Good morning BAs and thanks @Shanex for getting us going today…cool and steady rain all morning, much needed. Drinking a beer brewed for the Marks & Spencer grocery store chain - “Cheshire Chocolate Porter”:

    Tastes like Cocoa Wheats cereal before you add the sugar. A pleasant enough porter with a light cocoa linger.

    Good day BAs! Thanks go out to @Shanex for starting today's thread! Busy day will be starting soon - building another raised bed for next year's garden - this one will just get zucchini leaving the former shared bed for just bitter melons. Also bottling an oatmeal stout today. And laundry day has begun.

    This is No Restrictions! by Lindau Bryggeri. Lindau is Sweden's smallest pro brewery, only selling beer at a half a dozen places on the block of the brewery in Stockholm. Currently hanging at Twang, a bar/café/guitar shop/music venue, looking forward to seeing these guys tonight:

    Still raining lightly, patches of green are beginning to return to the grass yard which was totally dry and golden when we arrived…drinking a beer I got at the brewery in Southampton yesterday - Dancing Man Brewery’s “Big Casino” IPA:

    Brewed with Citra and Mosaic. Grain bill is wheat, barley and oats. Soft rounded feel. A good IPA with undercurrent of tropical fruit, but earthy hop flavor/linger distracts. I’d drink again.

    Beer 2 from Tradiční pivovar v Rakovníku is the Bakalář dry hopped lager - first introduced in 2012 and brewed with Saaz hops. I had a spirited exchange with the brewer when I asked about their Italian pilsner. They kept insisting that this was a Czech lager. :wink: @JackHorzempa
