For me, it's really simple. Just double IPA

 

Good day BAs! Thanks to @AzfromOz for starting off today's thread! And for your concise review of Kwak. @Shanex - I had Kwak about a million years ago when I first started traveling in Europe - What I remember is the glass in the wooden support and the burning! This was pre-BA and so no review to which I can look back. Maybe it's time to re-evaluate it.

Today's New Breakfast Beer:



Really quite good - rating 4.01, rDev -2%. Thus far, the Bottle Shop series is one to which I frequently return for some good drinking beer - it ain't all great but it's all good!

Good morning BAs. Finished off yesterday’s liter of Guinness Stout, now drinking “Dream Tempo” an IIPA brewed with Citra and Citra Cryo, from a brewery catching my attention - Pentrich Brewing Co., Pentrich, Derbyshire, UK:



Hazy deep gold with some clarity under mixed bubbles, white head; very good cap retention; solid ring; bands of soapy lacing. Bright orange hops upon popping open the can; lemon zest right behind. Orange up front followed by light bitter lemon peel; firm malt base. Medium full body, soft (oats) feel; moderate minus carbonation; dusty tongue coating; no warmth from 8.3% abv; no astringency. Overall an excellent NE style DIPA; tasty orange flavor with a pleasant bitter citrus hops linger; I could easily drink another 440 ml can.

Happy Friday BA's!! Overtime done and when I got home my wife said the new appliances are coming in an hour or so. So needless to say we've been emptying the refrigerator into 3-4 coolers. One year ago today we lost 13 US service members in one of the most poorly designed operations to exfil a country. Kabul should have never been the last US foothold, Bagram should have been.

New beer and a new brewery for me with this one.
Liquid Light based in Nottingham, UK. 9.3% DIPA. Strong, sweet with great flavours. Boozy finish. Lovely stuff

 

Aren’t those Frosh Ice-Breakers hilarious … last year’s Lit Major vs Woman’s Studies Rugby Meet and Greet was a bit out of the box,,, this year the Infirmary hired extra hands … all bo preperons!

 

I know @DavetotheB brought plenty of Lite, and many back issues of his wife’s Vanity Fairs and daughter’s Cosmos… good beach reading!
