Not much to say here but “Wow”. What an incredibly good Imperial NEIPA. No hop burn, big pineapple flavor, and overall just incredibly smooth. Cheers fellas.

Urbs in Horto, a Double IPA from Hop Butcher, with Strata and Mosaic. Canned 8/22! Cheers, BAs.

 

Phase Three Curvature batch 11 at the source. French toast imperial stout with maple, cinnamon, vanilla and walnut. Plenty sweet, but not as much as I expected.

Last day of recovery, tomorrow... back to running with purpose.

Celebrating with my last of the Von Ebert Volatile Substance IPAs. Shit these are good.

Splitting a Fegley's Framboise Lambic with the wife.
Pretty good American rendition.
Nice raspberry & vinegary nose with the flavor to follow with a subtle malt backdrop.
I wish it had a bit more raspberry on the finish, but then this one was in the fridge for quite a while.
Had to use pliers to get the cork out.
That bugger was in there!
The last of the yeasty bits are quite puckery.

 

Had to grab a taste of their Oktoberfest, Märzen style.



It is quite good. Clean and fresh with all the feels and little to no sweetness.

 

Back home in Flat Rock after a wonderful week in Banner Elk and enjoying a Wee-Heavy-Er from French Broad River in Asheville. Their beers are not highly renown in the competitive Asheville market, but this hits all the style guidelines pretty well and is a nice change of pace!
Hearing a CSN song that i have not heard in years. Always found the harmonizing to be very chill and relaxing.
