    I do like chocolate, just kind of thought that’s all there was to it. I loved Hazelnut, and CBS is definitely my favorite.

    Those variants had chocolate notes, but this beer puts it out, front and center (for better or worse). I know many folks loved the KBS vanilla cinnamon. I just can’t abide too much cinnamon. Comes down to personal taste on the specific flavors. We’ll see. If they give the new Mackinaw more barrel, you’d get no complaints from me.

    I preferred the espresso variant. Apparently we are in the minority.

    The espresso and hazelnut are the bottom two for me. Mack fudge and vanilla/cinnamon are top tier. But we all have our preference. Nothing is right or wrong

    I hate hazelnut. Vanilla Cinnamon was to sweet for me. I like aggressively roasty beers, so it's no surprise we differ on that. That is the beauty of beer right now, there is something for everyone.

    @Resistance88 Dude, or homie, for you West Coast types: THAT is MOST DEFINITELY NOT a non-adjuncted beer.

    I have a whole world of options here if you’re branching THAT far out of your regular zone.

    While I figure out how to pack this box, I’m using the Easter egg beer as my choice for the night.

    Yikes. I ordered one on Tavour. Hope it's better than zero stars.

    Just picked up a can of this last week. Like I keep saying, Short Throw stouts are low-key amazing.

    Agreed! Every time I try a vanilla stout I am hoping for a blast of vanilla. I've had FO three times and FF once, and neither of them tasted more than very mild vanilla. BC Vanilla Rye had the most vanilla of any stout I've had, and I've failed to reenact that experience for 8 years.

    I don't really understand why those BL stouts are so highly regarded. Their only beers I've really enjoyed a lot were the coffee stouts, like Ground State, Reaction State, and Red Star November.

    Moonraker makes terrific stouts, as thick as I've had. Never tried a BA one, alas.

    If you can seek out Oddside 12th Anniversary

    The best Vanilla and Cacao flavors i have ever had!

    Maybe a Michigan trader can get some.

    And and for Moonraker ..the THICCEST second to Hopping Frog stouts. A little sweet but i was happy to buy a few bottles last year

    The 2022 version of BA Speedway isn't as good as previous versions, but it's still very good. Less barrel, but the coffee is still great.

    I wouldn't travel too far to look for it, but it is worth experiencing once if ya can get it.

    Stone ,being a California brewery, is all over here and these can be found currently as it's a seasonal release that came out last month so its pretty easy to find right now. I forget they also brew in Virginia ,however i was told that that place is only operating at 30% capacity so maybe that isn't brewed there.

    I really like evoking emotion through my outdoor beer photos! I try to capture as much of the environment as possible even if its just a beer photo and comments like these make it worth the time. Thank you.

    My very very very good friend was visiting New York City and he got this for me. I would drink anything he brought, but these beers aren't anytning i would look for myself. Took me 3 days to drink it all .
    He also brought me one from Other Half called Banana Running Club , "A Bourbon Barrel Aged Chocolate Banana Oat Cream Imperial Stout with Wild Thai Banana , Cacao Nibs and Milk Sugar" . That one may take me a month to drink.
    I'm not ready for that endeavor yet ,but I'll keep you in mind when i do!

    Its 0 stars compared to their 2020 Release . They are night and day , i find it insulting to what BA Speedway was before.
    If i am completely honest at best i would give this a 3. Worth trying once but not worth seeking out at all.

    Long day at work, Phillies we’re up 7-0 when I left, down 12-7 when I got home.

    From the bottle. 27 January 2033 bottle.

    It’s good, ever better at $4.29 a bottle. Just noticed it’s a twist off, been using an opener.
