What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3602

I have three autoimmune diseases but I am still doing my best to be an asshole. I think I have been pretty successful as far as WBAYDN is concerned.

That aside, my daughter had an autoimmune disease that sounds sort of like the one you had. She lost vision in one eye for over six months. I think the doc prescribed some sort of steroid drops. The drops eventually restored her vision but the doc said it would probably cause her to have a cataract in the eye within a year. He was right. She had to have cataract surgery at the tender age of 35 but well worth it.

 

Brother, I usually use fresh cayenne or jalapeno in chix dishes and or black bean salsa & such. The habanero and ghost pepps I slice into rings, dehydrate them and then grind them(exclusive coffee grinder for pepps)into a fairly fine powder depending on how they cured. Those 2 pepps are so fiercely hot that a small chunk, for me, could be a day changer. I wear latex gloves when slicing them. Powder is EZ to use and blends quickly. I sometimes grill or smoke some pepps b4 dehydration and that flavor really comes thru in the end. A hot pepper beer is my kinda thang!

 

Feeling the flow, 2 more days and 3 off.

 

Founders CBS BBA Imperial Stout, 11.3% ABV, vintage 2019. I predict that CBS is already in barrels for the next release. No way they've permanently retired their best beer. They'll bring it back every few years.

Well hell, none of my Texas Hampton Inns have a bar. But I have had a few Jai Alais in my room before.
