I believe when they had it it would most likely have been their Tmavé.

I’ve got my first Portland trip in over a year coming up… just about 3 weeks away. Fingers crossed they’re open by then. At they very least excited I should be able to try them around town

Google says Thursday. Depending on a few things (namely opening time), I might make it.

"Tank Pub" ? I'm usually critical of US brewers using foreign terms for things that weren't commonly used in the US industry (like Foeder for once-common large vertical wooden casks) or misusing Coolship as always implying a wild fermentation method rather than it's original US industry usage for cooling hot wort before fermentation but, in this case, I think I'd have gone with the Czech "Tankovna".

And, yeah, I know Tank Pub is used in the UK but it just doesn't sound inviting to me. I guess I picture a bar with a parking lot full of military tanks. "Uh-oh, looks like the National Guard guys are having lunch here again..."

But maybe you and Oddball could enjoy a mug of beer together?

Google maps says opens 4PM for tomorrow. Had my eye on a visit too, but that timing doesn’t work.

Yeah, not for me, either. I'll keep an eye out for weekend hours. I think this is the last weekend before soccer/baseball/lacrosse starts, so it might be the weekend to do it if it works out.

Should be in attendance tomorrow. Luckily there's been a trip up to ME on the books for a few months now and these two things coincide perfectly. Will report back.

Gladly find you something to trade for a can of a pils or lager if you bring some home!

reminds me of a Steven Wright joke:
I went to a store and the sign said Open 24 Hours. When I got there, there was guy outside locking it up. I said, “What are you doing, the sign says Open 24 hours?” And he said, “Not in a row.”

That’s funny. Earlier when I read it I was thinking it reminded me of a George Carlin riff in general but I think you nailed it.

It reminds me of a restaurant in easthampton, it’s called the “daily operation”, and while they serve delicious food, they aren’t open daily, not even 6 days a week.
