Crushing Mass by Three Floyd’s. Why haven’t I tried this monster before? Barrelicious!

Wasn’t sure how this would be holding up but it’s really good right now. Mostly chocolate and hints of cinnamon and chili along with some barrel. Cheers

 

@Resistance88 keeps sending beers and I keep drinking them. He hasn’t even had one from my box yet. Work work work. I spent all day on a ladder doing gutter work, helping the kid. How you bang hangers lower on one side only to have the water flow the other direction is beyond me. This beer is necessary.

2022 FW Parabaloid. I guess it’s okay…if by ok you mean fanflippingtastic! The barrel is all over the nose and tongue. Stout base is impeccable. I get an almost floral note with the schnozz deep in the Glencairn. The flavors just morph throughout the sip, and linger well. Mouthfeel is full, with a slightly lively carbonation. No exaggeration when they call it an “elite barrel” offering.

back at it with some Bottle Logic goodness. this one is very reminiscent of vanilla ice cream. gets better as it warms. thick, probably thanks to the lactose but never gets too sweet.

Plastic cup? Santa Maria! Seriously drink from the bottle or with a paper bag on the outside if it makes you feel better

 

Isn’t it a $50 ticket in California to drink from plastic ware?

 

Koschie The Dethless - White Street Brewing

Koschie might have been no angel, and his namesake beer don’t care!

Rich and saturated with charred malt. Dark chocolate, molasses and figs, with some peat smoke and light bourbon. This is a dark beer. Dated 2018. It’s a cool and drizzly day and this bottle ought to be just the ticket. Nice chilled, much improved at room temperature.

12 oz bottle into a Firestone Walker snifter. 13% ABV. Looks like it was bottled in June 2022, but that’s a guess through a clump of yellow numbers on the bottle neck.
Zero head, get straight to the point I guess.,
Smell is coffee, milk chocolate, plum, vanilla.
Tastes great. The coffee, chocolate and vanilla play nice and Satan sends a small heat spear on the tongue and back of the throat at the finish. Balanced rolling flavor profile.
Feel is not-quite motor oil thick, a little oily, very low carbonation, but enough to add a little fizzle to the sizzle.
Overall, a real treat. Big Stout!
