No idea what your FT is but there is no Ann b6. Batch 5 was the latest Ann release in 2019. It’s a 750.

I'm not typically one to chime in if a trade does have a chance of closing, but this is really, really far off in terms of how people typically value these beers... like, you're about 1/10th of the way there. It might be worth setting your sights on Clover or Samuel, or pairing the W&O with other bottles for Art? Just an idea, best of luck!

I didn't want to be that guy either, but I just don't see any way this closes. High-end bourbon and the like struggle to close Ann, not to mention that most people who have bottles are typically content to keep/drink them.

Not even 24 bottles of your for trade would land an Ann, that’s how highly valued and hard to trade for it is.

I just offered a ORVW '21 and D13 for an Ann on FB and got no bites. It's absolutely insane how hard Ann is to get. Seeing how Wolf & Otter is only rating a 4.54 on Untappd right now, unless this suddenly jumps to a 4.9/5 on Untappd, this won't have enough hype to drive up the secondary.

Despite how hyperbolic this sounds, it might actually be more true than not...

Yeah, it’s crazy. Bulk quantity won’t land something like Ann. A monster anchor beer needs to be offered up, and even then it’s going to be a long shot. I hate referencing secondary, but offering up 2 bottles valued at x has a much better chance than offering 12 bottles valued at x.

I saw someone offer a William Larue Weller + that got crickets, and the poster above referenced he offered Old Rip Van Winkle and Derivation 13 and got crickets.

For reference, the only bottles of Ann I’ve seen for trade over the past year were ISO Bullfrog lambics that probably don’t even exist anymore and Cantillon bottles I’ve never even heard of.

Quiet the Crowds, Wolf & Otter, and ADWTD TO for Ann?

    Ann sounds unobtainable, thanks all.

Pretty sure I know exactly the offers you're referencing. The WLW+ not closing was nuts, even for Ann-level standards, and we know the Bullfrog offer was from one particular dude with pretty niche interests.

You're right though...best bet to close seems to be the type of one-off Cantillions released 20 years ago at some random Italian pub.

I think when Ann first came out it was ~1500, it seems to be ~1700-2k now. Quiet the Crowds is like 250, Wolf & Otter might settle at 150, and ADWTD TO is like 150 (unless it's b1, then it's at 450). So you're still about 1k short in secondary value even if it's an ADWTD TO b1. If you happen to have ADWTD b3 (ultra rare whale with like 100 bottles released), that might be 1:1.

For reference, the offer I posted ORVW (~850) plus D13 (~800-900), didn't close or get any bites. Ann is pretty much unobtainable, I'm hoping they'll release the next batch next year though (looking to tick Ann as well)

Eh 1:1 is a bit of a stretch. I’ve done Ann + for b3 and it’s closer to x2 Ann these days.

Ya fair enough, no idea where b3 is right now. Was more trying to illustrate that he ain't close at all.

That was you?! I was wondering why that offer was getting laugh emojis, since it seemed fine to me

I’d say my first swing at Ann, I fell flat on my face. It’s more valuable than I would ever value a beer. I’ll wait for the next batch, Cheers!

It was definitely there when I checked at one point, either by accident or maybe a keyboard troll became a cowardly lion
