    Good day BAs! Yet another cool, damp morning here on the tundra of NW PA - even the groundhog was up before me today - saw him in my yard eating an apple. After he left, I filled his dish with swiss chard clippings from last night's human dinner - we'll see how he likes them.

    Hellooooo Advocates! Thank you @Ozzylizard for making todays thread so much more Oswald. A beautiful free day in my camp. Went to the beer store early and said out loud "c'mon Andy, get with the program!" So I picked up some Octoberfest. Bell's & Paulaner. Malty offerings are not my go-to bev yet I don't actually dislike them. In fact I have my eyes peeled for Hacker-Pschorr Ofest....So, as they chill in the fridge I'll get locked with this Murphy's Dry Stout and a trusty wee shillelagh. Cheers everyone! Keep on smiling!

    I can't describe how bad this beer is. Liquid wood and chipboard, odd minerally flavors.
    Zwickel is one of my favorite beer styles and this is one of the worst examples

    @ChicagoJ Labor Day at the track was tough, I never do well in the rain and
    Monday was no exception, but it's my tradition to go to the track on the last

    Was excited to try this as it’s pretty high up on the “top pumpkin beers” list. It’s Good, but a definite sipper. 6 oz is plenty if this let alone 12.

    Holy Shit Batman, a new BA stout, my lucky day. Shortfuse Tolling Bell, a RBA Imperial Stout. That being said, this is really terrific coming from a brewery that makes some IPA's I haven't got much use for.
