I always said that there was a very fine line between the "swing lube concept" and total swing mayhem. I was a scratch golfer for years but still beer and too much fun (trying too hard) interfered on occasion with a good round. A 78 that could have been 72-74. And even crazier stories-hole in one on my birthday, with a 1-3-3 finish on the front nine for 32 and I shoot 78. Oh well, have fun and make some putts!

Looks like it might be a cool but otherwise decent day today - will pick more tomatoes and finish mowing the "lawn" - might even harvest some peppers as well!

Bottled 2/28/22. Poured at 51°, from TW’s cooler to my snifter 20 minutes later. Delish.! The OG is still my second favorite, right behind Maple Mackinac Fudge…



So happy that Founders brought KBS MMF back this year! Can’t wait to try the latest installment. Nothing going on today otherwise, just tying up loose ends before I start another trial on Monday. Cheers and have a Thirsty beer Thursday y’all!

I couldn’t wait, so I chilled one in the freezer, lunch beer - KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2022):



Chocolate Fudge with swirl of maple; bourbon notes envelopes the whole; a thing of beauty, truly. I’ll circle back to the big box store and buy more before it is gone, although at $27.99 4/pk I doubt in this market area it will sell out in a few days…

We will have a range of bok beers over the next months, since bok traditionally is a seasonal beer here during fall. About every Dutch brewery makes a bok this time of the year.
