some pond side action....

 

Howdy all - survived the 50k yesterday, and starting nice and easy this morning. The Leadville DNF left a sour taste in my soul, so determined to get at least a baby-Ultra done this year. This was tough with about 5000 feet of vertical climbing, constant up and down but I love the park where they held this (Mueller State Park). So, nice to get the Tava's Shadow 50k in the books as done.

Having a hearty Lamb-Rice bowl with some of our garden veggies, and a little NA Smores for now.

Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for starting today's thread - beautiful pixs - the signs say it all about the era. And @belvedere86, YESSSSS, alone time is very important in any relationship - Mrs. Lizard is off to another quilting coven for a few days later this week - It'll be just me and the herps for a couple of days of relaxation and recharging.

Today's New Breakfast Beer (and a cross-post with NBW) has been pushed to the back of beer reefer #1 for some time - I had to add it to the database:



A decent chili beer but short on the oatmeal stout phase.
