New England Brewing Sea Hag IPA, 6.2% - delicious old school IPA, grapefruit and pine, very dry with a smooth bitterness - dolphin smooth. Malts are tasty in the background. Solid classic! Cheers! :beers:

It's nice to get that IPA taste out of my mouth with a fine German beer!
    Ahh, so good.

    Hello Advocates!

Back from a little beer-hiatus of ~30 days or so. Had an awesome RTB 2022 race weekend and our team finished surprisingly well - 3rd place in our division (mixed open). Not too shabby for us old guys and gals (not old enough for masters yet tho!) It was great to get the van back together after a couple of cancelled years. This was my 8th time running this amazingly fun 24hr relay race from the mountains to the seacoast of NH, and is one of my all-time fave experiences. Hopefully many more years to come.

And so I'm now very excited to have a nice selection of seasonal brews, Märzens and such. Love dat malty goodness! Figured I'd start with one I hadn't had previously, and it's really delicious:

    Festbier - Bitburger Brauerei

It has got better the hardest part is getting through the initial "ok where the fuck do I begin" phase. Don't say that man! She even said she thinks there's more coming so we shall see.

I convinced my wife that we needed to stop into Russian River Brewing at the end of our long weekend trip up north. I had the Velvet Glow helles lager, Intinction barrel-aged pilsner, Tempo Change hazy IPA, and Consecration dark sour (haven't had that one for a long time, such a killer beer).

You know how beers have a flavor profile - well, I knew I had tasted this before - it's almost identical to SN Celebration! So good, just had to spread the word! Cheers! :beers:

Yessir! I opted against having Pliny there as it's something I can get locally (wanted to try out things they only have there or that I haven't seen around me). But I did manage to have a couple Blind Pigs at the airport while waiting for our flight ;-)

Picked up a regional beer today from Whaley Farms out of Old Fort, NC. Thanks to @WCKDVBZ for the recommendation a few days ago. Traditional English ingredients were used including a yeast strain straight out of South London. This is really well executed, so much flavor packed into a 4.2% abv brew!
Listening to the 70's station on SXM and came across a timeless BOC song.
    Cheers!
    Tom
