    Howdy all!

    It's Wednesday night here in Oz as we cruise into a four-day weekend in my home state of Victoria in honour of the Queen's funeral (tomorrow) and the Australian Football League Grand Final (Friday).

    My hometown team, Geelong, is in the big dance, looking for our first premiership since 2011 and, as they say in the classics (at least in Australia), I'm as toey as a Roman sandal. And we're still three days out!

    Calming the nerves tonight with a Petrus Rood Bruin, a beautiful, soft Flanders Oud Bruin. I could drink this for the rest of the night and be very, very happy, figuratively and literally!

    Bearded Iris Double Homestyle.
    Pairing it with a small package of Carolina Reaper flavored cheers curls. This Reaper pepper is hot, but works good with the cheese curls. Should remember not to touch my eyes or nose with my left hand for the next hours :slight_smile:

    Carlsberg Barrel Aged :slight_smile: Taste is somewhat like a fancy good Euro lager (Euro lager is lager pimped with just extra alcohol).
    I'm not sure. But for me this beer feels somewhat like a joke in a good way.

    Carlsberg is a mayor supplier for the Scandinavian supermarkets (as far as I know). But their lager is limited by local regulations to about 4% in alc by vol. in most places. That somewhat sucks indeed.
    This 'big finger' comes at about 12 % alc by vol.
