Just received an email that my package from TWCP is ready to be picked up. My pickup location has changes though and I know someone earlier in this thread mentioned that as well. Seems a bit odd.

 

basically TWCP seemed entirely unprepared for this release between changing availability dates, actual on sale times, and now pickup locations.

 

Anyone at the brewery for open? Curious how much of a madhouse it starts becoming before 5, and/or whenever they sell out of Terminus.

 

These glowing Untappd reviews of D9 from today are blowing my mind. It was a mess three years ago. Can’t imagine how bad it is now.

 

I had it a year ago. It had definitely fallen off pretty hard.

 

To-go Terminus is gone.

 

Are they from people you know, or random untappd reports? We know random untappd reports can't be trusted. I'm not being a jerk when I say that (especially) SP beers are overrated on untappd. It's not that every beer can't be good, but there's an inflation factor built into a brewery like SP that isn't matched from your average well known brewery.

In this case, it's a (in)famous derivation. It'd have to be pretty bad, I think, for your average SP goer to rate it worse than a 4.5.

 

Give the cheese monger a break, for the love of lacticity.

Some people taste hype far more than flavor. They really do.

 

anyone planning on going to the brewery on Monday? i’ll be there at open, flying solo, and looking to try the three different DBDs if anyone cares to split.

 

Anyone try either of the new terminus yet? Any reviews?

 

Agree with that. It's not bad by any means, but it's not getting better. There was still some cinnamon in the pour I had, but I got more maple notes this time around. I don't remember that from previous bottles.

 

D9 was literally a life changing beer for me. My wife and I had just moved to St Louis and I had just barely started getting into craft beer and went to side project because I knew it has some beers on the BA top 250. It was available for $50/bottle and at that time it was just not a price I could justify. Some kind stranger saw us debating what to get and gave me and my wife a pour from his bottle and I tasted something I previously didn’t know was possible in beer. It got me to go back, got me to start learning more about beers and eventually into trading and La Coterie. If that kind stranger is here reading this I owe you a drink!

So I saw Anabasis pack and Tete are only available to go from the Cellar. Is Cellar open to public during Zwanze for To Go?

 

as far as i know the Cellar is open to public normal hours.

also, i have that Tete is available to-go from all 3 locations.
