    Getting to work at 3:30am I tend to forget that the rest of the world is sleeping and I'm like oh wow no thread yet? Amd in reality it's 10am and not typically drinking time

    Good morning BAs! Taking a break from hurricane prep and running errands this morning…drinking Angry Chair’s Double Stuffed Fudge Bucket, imperial milk stout:

    Purchased at the old brewery location on 5/4/22, presumably canned that week. Poured at 56°. Still tastes like an Oreo dipped in milk chocolate. No warmth from 10.5% abv. Delicious!

    The hurricane turned back towards Tampa per overnight’s forecast…Mrs. Z is freaking out and we will cancel our Paris trip (we were going to fly out tomorrow, but can’t leave dogs with a house sitter in the face of a big storm). Lots of loose ends to tie up today including, inter alia, canceling flights with 4 airlines. We will probably drive to SEFL tomorrow where our friends and our son live…it’s always something.     Housework on our son's condo going well. I got the TV hung up and I've almost finished the storage cabinet.

    Staying home today as our AC is finally getting fixed. It will apparently take a few days, including a complete demo of our attic. The previous owners of our house royally effed this place up. Anyway, sipping on an NA beer for now. Run later and then a real beer! Cheers!

    Brew day. Doing a quick pale ale with Simcoe, Citra and CTZ hops. Using Lutra Kviek yeast for a quick turn around. Hosting an Oktoberfest event in two weeks. After drinking so many fest and marzens something a little hoppy in between is always nice.
