Slipped my mind at the time, but Dusseldorf and Cologne deserve a shoutout, too. The only reason they probably did slip my mind is because you pretty much have to love alt or Kolsch. It's not like San Diego where you probably should like IPA's, but there are plenty of alternatives if they aren't your jam.

A little confused by all the Edinburgh picks — lovely city but I was pretty underwhelmed in terms of the beers and bars there, so I must have been doing something wrong.
