    Happy Saturday BA!

    Daylight savings starts tonight in Oz which to me signifies that we can finally leave winter behind and look sunward to the coming hotter months. But that doesn't mean winter is totally forgotten - there are plenty of stouts and other dark beers patiently awaiting my pleasure in my fridge. And, lo and behold, here's one: Double Jenny by Tallboy and Moose. Tallboy is an Australian, Moose is a Canadian, and the beer is German. Three continents combining for your supercontinental visual pleasure tonight!

    Howdy! Daylight saving was supposed to be ended by the EU several years ago but it doesn’t seem to be a priority for Brussels at the moment for reasons well understood, but it seems like wether wars or pandemic always delay things up a bit anyway. No biggie. Our own DLS is later in October btw.

    Why on earth would you want to get rid of daylight savings? It's awesome! A couple of states in Australia don't observe it and those of us who live in states where we do have it can't understand why they don't.

    EU bureaucrats, based on several countries and population that were complaining about it. I can think of far worse things to complain about nowadays frankly.

    I don’t really care either way. Keep it or get rid of it just as long as the EU can make up its mind about it once and for good. Cheers!

    Good day BAs! Thanks to @AzfromOz for starting us off today. I'm still in a good mood after yesterday's success in moving and removing "stuff" in my garage so I can get my car in for the winter - that's why I probably over-rated today's New Breakfast Beer:

    BA calls it a malt liquor - the can says "White Stout with flavors added" and not even "Natural flavors" at that! So, "Unnatural flavors added?" Possibly the lowest I've ever rated a brew from Hoppin' Frog! Rating 3, rDev +17.2%. Prosit!

    Slept in late this morning…lots of chores today…some coffee in honor of International Coffee Day - KBS:

    Bottled 6/8/22. Poured at 52°. More bourbon than coffee taste, which is fine by me. Mrs. Z got home safely last night, and we stayed up watching TV. It’s good to sleep in…Cheers and have a smooth Saturday y’all!

    I texted my Brother in Florida ( Brandon ). He said power was restored at 0200 this morning and he has enough damage to his roof that it will get to be replaced eventually. Going to be a serious demand for building supplies for awhile in the Sputheast
