    This is scary close to a märzen imo. It even looks like 1. Much darker in appearance compared to the Weihenstephaner Helles I had earlier. This has more märzen like notes to. Damn good beer. 1 of my favorite German beers next to Stiegl Goldbrau.

    I think I'm going to do a tour of New England IPAs today. Earlier, I had a Big Hoppy. So, a second round is clearly Bigger/Hoppier, right?

    Thanks! After a circa 5 yr hiatus the wife and I decided to throw our collective compression socks into a couple fall ultras (decision made while inebriated, of course).

    I guess we’re going out to dinner, wife suggested maybe I should slow my roll a bit. One more for the road. This is a new one from Central Water, an IPA with Zappa, Citra, & Mosaic. Different, but very drinkable. I think I like it. Heard Moon Unit turned 55 this week, same age as me. I’ll drink to that, for sure!

    Their dark, high ABV beers are awesome. I still have a bottle of Dark Apparition stashed away. Pretty sure it's from 2017. I don't like to cellar/age canned beer. Just another reason to drink 'em now!

    It'd have to be a boozy fucker tho. 10% or higher maybe barrel aged

    Best freakin' beer in the world. This can is of questionable age (no canned on date which means it was either erased or canned 3 years ago when they didn't put dates on their cans) but it tastes a-freakin-mazing, albeit detectably non fresh.
