What beer are you drinking now? #3638

Good day BAs! Thanks, @Shanex, for starting us off today! The last few days have started off with morning fog followed by cool but sunny days - I've been using that time to prepare my yard for the coming glacier. Still have peppers ripening under frost protection.
Today's Oktoberfest beer is one I've had previously, a decent marzen:



Not the best ever but not too bad.

 

Good morning BAs! Dogs walked and fed this beautiful cool 66° morning…coffee time - Hoppin’ Frog’s DORIS The Destroyer, a double oatmeal RIS:



Best By date of 12/3/24. Poured at 52°. Way too bitter. Any chocolate is hidden behind burnt brown bread and bitter roasted malt. Long dry wooden bitter linger. Not my cup of morning joe…

Another fantastic fall-like day forecast here, sunny and low 80s. Maybe I’ll finish cleaning out the RV and get it ready for winter “storage”. Cheers and have a great day y’all!

 

Thank goodness I have something I really like to drink, to wash that last stout’s flavor away…putting stuff away and drinking a KBS MMF:

Zundert is the other Dutch Trappist. Monastery is located near the town of Zundert, where Vincent Van Gogh was born. You can visit the house where the painter was born. But the monastery has no shop or visitor-centre.

A cloudy and cool day, with rain expected later. The dogs have had their walk and I am settling down toread for a while. My liquid refreshment is this wonderful NEIPA sent to me by @MacMalt. Thanks, Rob.

 

This is a lovely beer. So far I haven't had anything disappointing from Fair State. Although iv only tried their lagers. I need to try some of their IPAs.
