    Currently opening Chimay in its blue iteration. Went to the grocery barely more than a kilometer walk on a sunny and chilly morning feels like a right reward afterwards.

    Thanks @Shanex for opening the door to the virtual bar today. It's my lunch break, so I'm cracking another new one. First a shot of the coast between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. I'll be heading inland on Tuesday.

    This beer is from Namibia (@The_Kriek_Freak ) - a dark lager from Roof of Africa Craft Brewery in Windhoek. Very nice beer. Notes over in the NBW thread.

    Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for today's opening and thanks to @Beersnake1 for those shots of Namibia (And beer, of course!). I have an aunt and uncle from AK who spent a year in Namibia with the Peace Corps - they loved the country and the people! They also got malaria.

    Bottled 8/8/22. Poured at 55°. I think I’ll buy more this week!

    Another gorgeous day here in Sunshine City; forecast calls for sun, breeze, low humidity and low 80s. I spent all day in Dunedin yesterday with the wife and dogs, and I didn’t visit a brewery or even drink a beer. Cute well appointed small town on the water, a beautiful place to walk about and chill. We’ll go back now that the weather is turning cooler.

    I'm back and finished with work. NO, I did not buy this here! It was a bottle that we didn't get to open at the bottle share in Germany. I actually got this from @beergoot a while ago in a trade! It has traveled far, my friend. From Colorado to Africa! First time trying it (I have been excited since I got it), but had to pick the right time since it's 22% ABV!! Holy crap!! It's insanely good. Notes over the in NBW thread momentarily. Cheers all!

    Always default to Robert Montgomery Knight when I hear that word. :grin:



    Don't really miss watching football, but do miss playing football, retired now for 11 years and counting. Really miss it on nice crisp beautiful Fall mornings like the nice one today. Don't miss the soreness, having trouble walking for a few days after and the broken toes and other hazards.
