My understanding is "MJK" is a recipe, as well as a beer. But there is single barrel and triple barrel MJK in this continuance blend and it says the range of ages is 12 to 46 months. So my guess is the 46 months is a barrel of triple barreled MJK that didn't make the cut for the final bottling.

 

pretty much correct. there’s some intentionally held back barrels of triple barrel MJK in this Continuance as well as newer MJK barrels (that they are hopeful can be used in another blend of MJK down the road) that were pulled from for this continuance as well. also, anabasis (blend #6 barrels i believe) and port barrel-aged ryewine.

the port barrel ryewine has me very intrigued. it’s a small % of this continuance blend so maybe it’s going to be a release of its own?

 

I would think the rye wine is the casita collab

 

I never got to buy any, but for those who did, how was Ludwig?

 

It’s a solid märzen, but for the money Civil Life Oktoberfest is better.

 

I was not impressed by it. It had more Belgian influence than I thought it should have.
