Gotta burn down my pile of yard debris to make room for more pallets!

A fine tasting one by Schilling

Oh I totally agree. I'll take any of those over the Steigl, especially for the price.

Hey man, yeah, went to UT-Austin for grad school (PhD) from 1994-1999, great times. Back then a grad student could get by on a cheap-ass stipend, with occasional plasma donations, and still afford a few beers a week. The things I miss most, honestly, are the breakfast tacos and the BBQ (which, as you know, is beef brisket). On the latter, Texas ruined me (Lockhart specifically).
    Cheers! Hook 'em!

What took me by surprise recently was the Veltins Pilsener. Hope to get more today. At 7.50 a pack I think I'll be grabbing 2.

That's awesome I bet you had some great times. I have heard our food is on another level. We do tend to be pretty proud of our BBQ brisket/ Tex-Mex styles of dishes. Cheers! :heavymetal:

The last of my Great Heights Oktoberfest...probably for the season.

Dewey Redman's Quartet, The Struggle Continues, spinning.

Of coarse, since this is an early 80's ECM record, you can't find these songs anywhere. So another Redman group from roughly the same time...

First time with this one and I’m really enjoying it and I’ll definitely have another! The 7.9% ABV probably doesn’t hurt. Yet. :beers:

Well, I bet you didn't have to plan your entire day around waiting in line just to get brisket at BBQ joints when you were in school. That is now a Texas past time, waiting in line for hours to get BBQ

Humble Forager Coastal Sunset V6 Fruited Kettle Sour, 6% ABV. Pours bright opaque orange with a slight light-orange head that left no lacing. Nose is banana, cinnamon, pineapple, and vanilla. Taste follows with pineapple dominating, moderately sweet, and equally tart. Excellent mouthfeel, overall excellent.

My first beer from this brewery, and I like it. Most of their beers go through multiple versions, each with new artwork and presumably tweaks to the recipe.

Three Floyds Broo Doo Fresh Hop IPA. Still tasting bright and fresh after a month. Nectarine, earthiness, grapefruit, orange marmalade, and pine to name a few with a slightly nutty and biscuit malt.
