Ok, since @BigIronH wants a hint, here it is, and I'll give 2, because I'm feeling generous:

Hint #9 - I have had beers from your state, and your state is somewhere in my top 20.
Hint #10 - Trillium Brewing is apparently over in Wisconsin now, if you live in the state where it's made, I'm sorry, you're out of the running.

Previous Hints:

Hint #1 - My target lives at a lower elevation than I do.
Hint #2 - My target does not live in the 3 states I've not had beer from (New Mexico, Rhode Island, West Virginia).
Hint #3 - My target does not live in the same time zone as I do.
Hint #4 - I've only been to your state once, on a layover, back in 2005.
Hint #5 - Jerry Reed had a hit song in 1977. Said song really goes well with what we do here. The title of that song tells you which ways I'm shipping.
Hint #6 - I could reach your state by water.
Hint #7 - Apparently my target hasn't had many beers from my state, or surrounding states (as far as I can tell). This will change.
Hint #8 - Your state was part of the original United States.

 

Well typically if you’re eying a pro career or at least a winning college career, you desire to go to a school who can win games.

 

Hawaii has had some good teams, and with modern tech, even games from SoutherNorthern A&M Tech are seen. Hawaii, is in a conference with a decent TV deal too. And, most kids know they ain't going pro, so why not beach and babe while getting the paper?

 

Well, since you're not my sender, I, thankfully, do not have to expend brain cells on this.

 

Where I went to college, St. Cloud State, no longer has a football team. The school, after I graduated built a new stadium for the football team, but it's no longer used for that purpose. It's not a bad stadium, and I went to a few games about 15 years ago. I have no clue what they use it for today, or don't use it. The school charged the students an extra fee to build the damn thing to replace the one built in the 1930's.

They do have a D1 Hockey team, that is highly ranked year after year, but they can't seem to win the Frozen Four. That program has produced many NHL stars. It also produced one of the owners of the resort I go to when I go to the Northwest Angle, he didn't go pro, though could have.

 

Hint #1: the max output of the largest river in my targets state, is roughly equivalent to the largest river in my county.
#2: the longest river in my targets state is less 311 miles long.
#3: water from my targets state will touch at least 3 states, but no more than 11 states, before a river dumps it into an ocean.
#4: my targets state has at least 11 examples of multiple rivers having the same name.
#5: a river near (let's say 75 miles) me, the Skagit River, is a few miles longer, and has a slightly higher (let's say within 1711 cubic feet per second) output than a river within the same parameters of my target, the xxxxxx River.
#6 is an elimination hint: if the 115 mile long river with an output of 2261 cu ft sec, that starts in the Laughlin Range, is wholly within your state, you are not my target.
#7: if your state has an Indian River, you are still alive.

 

I had prospected you due to your chain of hints and then eliminated you due to your pre hint in post 8, and now I’m pretty damn sure you’re shipping to Michigan. Whether to me or not, I guess I have a 33% chance.

Hint #2: I estimate there's a 77.78% chance my target is a Poo-Bah.
Hint #3: My state's flagship university doesn't play my target's in football this season. But they've previously played more than once.
