    Everybody and his dog talk about the series Dhamer on Netflix but before him was, post WW2 another creepy individual known as Ed Gein. I used to own the DVD for this admittedly low budget movie but Texan actor Steve Railsback did a very good job portraying him.

    Good afternoon Advocates! I found a new liquor store in town, and found a couple of new things. First is this one - Krystal Weiss from Cape Brewing Company in South Africa. Brewed with Paarl Mountain spring water, specially cultured top-fermenting yeast, imported wheat & barley malt, caramel malt & aroma hops. I'm really enjoying this one. Cheers!

    Good day BAs! Usual morning chores done, having some dessert for breakfast - Hoppin’Frogs’ “Peanut Butter Hazelnut Caramel Chocolate Cake Stout”:

    No canning date. Best By date 9/12/25? Poured at 56°. As advertised, strong peanut butter nose. Tastes like chocolate cake with layers of peanut butter and caramel. A bit thin, not too sweet. A very drinkable pastry stout.

    I’m probably going to take it easy today…I may unpack some of my Halloween Village and start setting that up…Cheers and have a magnificent Monday y’all!

    Going with a light beer next. The last one that I brought from the US. 2019 Black Tuesday - 19.4% ABV! I am going to split this over today and tomorrow. It's amazing. Cheers!

    I only ever had Bakery Banana Bread, from them and one of the tastiest beer I’ve ever had. Anything from them seems to just be World-class if willing to pay the price.

    That's why I like the can releases. Cheaper, and also not the volume of a 750ml bottle. Still, they aren't cheap. World class for sure. Cheers!

    look: 4.25 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25
    This beer pours a semi murky golden color. The head is white, fluffy, and 2 finger. The retention is decent, and there's some lacing on the glass.
    The aroma is a pleasing citrus aroma from the hops.
    The beer is quite hop forward. There's a good amount of grapefruit that hits hard. Some pine, but just a hint of it that works well with the grapefruit. Slight bitterness as well.
    The hops cling and linger in my throat. Decent full body.
    A delicious beer from Vermont.

    Enjoying a tasty Fiddlehead IPA, 6.2% - letting it warm a bit from the fridge really makes the citrusy flavor and velvety-soft feel stand out! Cheers! :beers:
