Nope, but at the time it was the largest annual gathering in the US. Still up there but not sure where.

The first time I saw that movie (In a theater no less!) I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. I still find it very amusing but cannot comprehend why it was so funny at the time.

We drove from Seattle to NYC last year around this time. It's a beautiful country we live in. Included in said trip was my first ever* visit to Michigan, so we could drive over the Mackinack bridge. Coincidentally we just happened to reach the bridge just about sunset and it was beautiful.
Also popped up to Canada briefly so that we could cross over Niagra Falls. The difference between the Canadian side and the American side was... stark.

When my dad got his, we got endless puns that he was going up Chuckanut Drive (he did, incidentally, travel via Chuckanut Drive, which is a very real, and very beautiful road that winds up between where I grew up and where Terry lives).

Actually, maybe you need some Chuckanut beer, just because!!

And a fun if stupid TV show!

Honestly, I actually agree with Terry there. Like there are plenty of other schools -- state schools especially -- that still pull big recruits without a history of success.
Success has to start somewhere, one would think with the beaches/etc aspect of Hawaii that they'd be able to pitch to recruits to be part of that foundation as well.
Plus, it's not like there's no one to recruit from in-state! The rest of the PAC-however many it is these days recruit pretty heavily from the islands. *shrug*

This is all I could think of reading that.

(Johnny Cash actually covered this as well, long before his American series when he was covering a lot of more rock-oriented tracks [with Hurt being the famous and incredible poster child], but I prefer the original version, personally [much as I love June, and she's at her unhinged best here])

Yeah, having lived and grown up about 90 minutes away, the Canadian side is the very definition of tourist trap (but, Canadian peelers love US cash, so....). The American side, once you're more than a block away from the Falls/River is total ghetto. The Love Canal area was still fenced off the last time I was there: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_Canal. Delivered furniture there for a bit, and delivered to houses right across the street from the fence. Those folks were so screwed. Houses basically worthless, so no money to move.

Arguably ESPECIALLY if you know latin!

Well, we're still trying to figure out when this thing starts and ends, and @Roguer won't tell us so we were hoping you could.

OK, I'm finally caught up on the thread. Now I have to start thinking of esoteric clues.
Well, in the spirit of the above discussion re: Hawaii, let's talk geography. Hawaii is the southern-most, and second-western-most state in the union.
The southwest corner of the house I live in has an interesting intersection that my target may find familiar, though they may be concerned they've had too much to drink! Now in the interest of fairness, since most of y'all don't know where I live: somewhere to the north of me, someone was creative, and probably not colourblind. To head south, one might need to pay a certain toll (though it's soul not hole), and as usual, the east can be bizarre - oh that one works for multiple reasons!

Hint: I have shipped to my target's state before. Maybe to my target, maybe not.

Question for EVERYONE. How many times have you had the same sender in back-to-back BIFs? What about same sender multiple times among the last 5 BIFs? Asking for a friend.

I did send to @woemad , then the next time I participated he was my sender. He got me my first beer from Idaho.

That's the closest I've gotten to that.

...not only am (was?) I #4 yesterday, but I'm also #3 and so is my target...plus I've been pseudo-called out in another forum as to whether a box of beer I sent out east today is a BIF #16 hint...well...

...enrapt yourselves in the landscape of plains and valleys and mountains of BIF hints and hauls obfuscation...one path brings madness, the other zymurlogical nirvana...to paraphrase George Clinton: ..."I have tasted the ******s of the BIF hints and hauls of the universe. I was not offended"...

...confused, perplexed, mostly drunk...but not offended...or clear...

Target, this is crucial. Arvon Candy Harvest is happening next weekend. I will be in attendance at least one of the days. If you would like some special Halloween themed sweet stouts/fruited sours/IPAs, please like this post.
