Hint #5: I’ve visited my target’s state many times, and greatly admire its beauty - which helps explain why it has more national parks than my state.

 

It's about clear as mud to me as well.

 

So, as my first box is in the wind, and my second is taking nice shape, I figure it is time to run a little LIF if no one minds a non-participant sending another box or two?

I’m making an impromptu trip out to Calgary next weekend. This will be my first time away from home since December of ‘19. My wife said it was high time I got away and stopped annoying everyone. Also, a return ticket is about C$200 which is unheard of up here.

I’ll be spending time with a close friend I haven’t seen in years. He isn’t a beer guy, but I’m planning to make a couple beer stops and will be bringing some cans home with me. So, I’d like to send a box to someone who would like a small box with some Alberta, Ontario and likely, Quebec beers (and even a saison brewed with foraged flowers from Nunavut).

The first time I joined this BIF in the spring of ‘19, I had just bought a new car, an ‘18 Tiguan. Remembering that I’ve been working from home primarily since early ‘20, my kids school, and previously their daycare is/was a 5-8 minute drive from my home, and my wife tends to drive our old Golf more often than not, how many kilometres will be on my odometer when I get home from The airport on the morning of the 25th? Closest guess to the actual KMs without going over is the victor! Anyone in this BIF or regulars on the sidelines are welcome to enter. Cheers!

Hint #3 - My target does not live in the same time zone as I do.
Hint #4 - I've only been to your state once, on a layover, back in 2005.
Hint #5 - Jerry Reed had a hit song in 1977. Said song really goes well with what we do here. The title of that song tells you which ways I'm shipping.
Hint #6 - I could reach your state by water.
Hint #7 - Apparently my target hasn't had many beers from my state, or surrounding states (as far as I can tell). This will change.
Hint #8 - Your state was part of the original United States.
Hint #9 - I have had beers from your state, and your state is somewhere in my top 20.
Hint #10 - Trillium Brewing is apparently over in Wisconsin now, if you live in the state where it's made, I'm sorry, you're out of the running.
Hint #11 - In 2018 I went on a vacation to a great state, that has a highly decorated WW II era battleship named after it, and said ship sits in a harbor of said state. I took the tour of the ship in 2011, and loved it. Sadly, anyone who lives in this state is excluded. I did enjoy the beers from that state when I visited in 2018, and have had 10 beers from said state.
Hint #12 - I have had the misfortune to have a layover at Newark Airport twice. Sadly if you live in that state, you're out.

New information has lead me to believe the number is closer to 15k KM.
