Follow-up - does anyone know if this was a new Destroyed by the Empire or is it the same batch as December 2020?

I wonder if this is kind of like Rye BA beers for me. They all seem to be perfectly approachable by everyone else, but the rye barrel - despite loving rye whiskey - is something that I can pick up on, and I seem to notice gives a particularly uninviting flavor that others generally don't pick up on at all. Not in every rye BA beer, but in many. (For Example, Ryeway to heaven is quite good, but it's too much rye for me. The 2-year version was certainly much better in 2019 @flat_lander (I never forget!).

 

Isnt this what Rev does best though? They understand how to make the beer approachable and not beat people over the head with it? They are restrained in the era of over the top pastry stouts. Any other brewer doing a Garrett’s popcorn collab beer would have made an over the top caramel bomb. This is why I suggested a pumpkin spice Deth as Rev is probably one of the few brewers who would actually do it in moderation to make it enjoyable - essentially a bourbon Deth with enough hints of spice to wonder whether it was a pumpkin spice adjunct or a spicy batch of bourbon. I would also love to see brewers in general age more stouts in apertivo barrels as there are hundreds of these types of liquors (though few have discovered barrel aging is a great way to upcharge for batches of apertivo liquors).

Of course this has happened before (stupidly) in water bottles and other vessels.
But to post about it?
And to post a picture taken in traffic?
Is your self esteem that low that you needed that boost/gratification from a bunch of online strangers so you could justify your reckless and dumbass behavior?
Show your wife or mom that post so you can realize what a loser you are.
...this shit takes all the fun out of it for me...

Just to be abundantly clear, I was pretending to be an insane internet person. It must be truly exhausting to actually be one.

That guy is a douche and I hope his child's bottles taste like BA stout and he has to buy new ones. Even better, I hope he forgot to put the little disc in their that keeps it from leaking everywhere inside the diaper bag. I know those bottles well. I was so happy when I never had to wash them and all of their parts again.

Dad pro tip: keep your bottle brush even after you're done with bottles because it's great for cleaning glassware that it hard to scrub the bottom out.
