I’m coming through on Wednesday, Nov 9 and hoping that they’ll have BBT 2022 available. By some miracle.

They have it the day before…I dunno, maybe I’m just hoping they decide to keep it up as an option the next day.

 

i see what you’re saying. my bad. leftover draft pours from the previous night at the cellar. again, i’ll say good luck! lol

 

i also looked into the whole TWCP Continuance draft debut and it does look like this will NOT be it’s debut. there are Untappd check-ins from November 2021 and one pic includes the menu where it is clearly listed as being on draft.

 

In that case, everyone please stay away from the TWCP Continuance. I will volunteer to drink down the keg on Friday.

 

twcp continuance was one of the best barleywines ive had, wish i can track down another bottle. im hoping (and from what it looks like) C3 should be just as good if not better! fingers crossed

my first reaction was “it must not be a big batch if no LC..” but who knows

 

The pace of these releases are unbelievable.

I am guessing instead of learning to bake bread like the rest of us during the pandemic, the crew was brewing stouts and barleywines and putting them in barrels.

 

100% agree. i also think not being open (any location) helped in building up barrel stock. instead of looking to pull from barrels of imperial stouts they just let them continue aging since on-site wasn’t an option. i think this allowed them to catch up with demand.

i also think that once they learned that packages were a viable option, they amped up stout production to help clear out white label / sour inventory via on-line sales.

but it all circles back to the early days of covid and being closed. which, it’s great they’ve “caught up” but i do not miss those early pandemic StL trips at all. so. fucking. boring. nothing was open. there was no place to stop and break up the trip and grab a drink. the most excitement was stopping to piss and fill up gas lol.

 

LC didn’t get D12 and it lasted for over a month. I have the feeling it’s a huge batch.

 

If it is, and if the plan is similar (for it to last for awhile), it would make sense for the long BBT pickup window and the advertisement of that time period to be a celebration with great options available.

 

true, and although i can’t remember the exact timeline, i do believe it got taken off the menu for BBT week / weekend and anniversaries and then put back up so that contributed to it lasting a little longer.

 

I think another stout, probably a collab, is going to drop when pickups start.
