This place rocks, I just don't always recommend Mexican before drinking. Their steak (asada) tacos bang too.

 

Any idea on the size of that frame?

 

Deth and Cafe in the wild downstate. Love the quick distro turnaround on these beers. Looking forward to trying them this weekend!

Not sure if this is what you mean but I just know the prints are 12"x18". That frame was just a mock-up.

 

Very nice! The white pops on each. Both look great but I really like the Coconut Deth. Great stuff.

 

Haven’t seen them in NE Ohio yet. We received deliveries the Tuesday after release the past few years. Finishing my last 2021 this weekend, so restock is needed.

 

Guys seriously, I'm a custom framer and I'm telling you if you walk in a shop asking for that frame custom it's gonna cost a stout season's worth of money. But why stop there? I can upgrade you to 24 karat gilding with black clay showing through the burnish marks on the leafing if you want to get fancy. At least that's how only the true Rev fans will be displaying their Deth posters...

 

Just completed my annual (since 2018?) tradition of having my wife pour two cans of Deths Tar in 4 taster glasses and me trying to guess which 2 are which and what I prefer. In past years it's been pretty stark which two glasses were the new vintage because they were miles ahead of the other two. I was easily able to differentiate the two that I liked more and which two glasses were what year. However (dramatic music plays), I got it wrong. I couldn't tell the difference and mixed this year's and last year's in the 4 glass roulette. I suppose this is both good and non-bad news. Good news is that this year's matches last year's Deths Tar which has been the best version in my opinion. Non-bad news is that this year's hasn't improved on last year's which each year has since I first moved to Chicago in 2017. Overall just an absolute delight that we have Deths Tar this available at this quality and I super enjoy doing this each October.

The can I had last night was seriously a delight from start to finish.

Recent vintages have all been great but this is another level IMO

Might be a perfect straight up BA stout for me

 

Just finished the last sip of my first Cafe Deth '22. Man, what a beer. Fresh out of the gate, this has to be one of my absolute favorite BA beers every year. They've had this one down to spec for years now. And I'm wowed by it every time.

 

Fighting that devil Flanders on my shoulder telling me to open my first Deth’s Tar of the season...

 

Which Flanders? Red, Brown or Ned?
