    Well folks. It's 4:30am ET and I'm wide awake. Looks like no one has started the thread for the day, so I thought I would give it a whirl. Hope everyone has a great Saturday and let's see what everyone is enjoying today. Hopefully, I don't drop the ball.

    It's still October so I am enjoying a rare VERY early beer from Atlanta based Arches Brewing - Märzen Bier. This one turned out to be one of the better Märzen style beers from Georgia this season. Toasty malt with a mild bitterness but enough to provide some balance. Soft and easy drinking, precisely what I look for in a well-crafted Märzen. Cheers and Prost to the weekend!

    Drinking Meantime London IPA, this is a great one, and not that pricey all things considered (Brexit and general inflation…).

    I didn’t see a four pack or sixer for that so this single one was a bit above 2€, for 330ml. Good deal.

    Yeah, that's not bad at all. I think the Euro/Dollar is running 1 to 1 these days. I looked that up out of curiosity. It's made with Fuggle and Goldings hops. I don't think I've ever had an IPA with that combo. That sounds pretty darn good!

    Yes on both accounts. Euro and dollars are about equal and a great hoppy IPA. Prost!

    Aside from drinking in random pubs and bars in England, Meantime hits all of my favorite likes. I sold this beer for years and I love it.

    I drank this one earlier today: Moeder Overste from Brasserie Lefebvre in Belgium. It was enjoyable but didn't pop like some of the really nice tripels out there.

    I’m not going to say the brewery doesn’t package 6ers, but I’ve only seen single cans in grocery and convenience stores in England. Cheers fellas!

    Good day BAs! Brisk 52° for our predawn dog walk…dogs fed, kitchen in flux…this morning’s eye opener is Fremont’s 10th Anniversary Stout (2019), a blend of BBA stouts, with cherries:

    Poured at 57°. Mighty fine. Bourbon, cherry and chocolate with oaky vanilla. Working on notes for NBW, so go check that thread out if you want to know more, in a bit. Later today I have a beer meet up to collect some Other Half beers my friend and I ordered from the brewery. Have a beer saturated Saturday y’all and Cheers!
