NBS BIF #16 Hints and Hauls: Sweet Sixteen - Teenage Lust Tastes Like Creamed Corn and Rolling Rock

You got me, Rob. I am your sender. It all started with Michael Brown. Who happens to be a native of New Jersey. The fact he played all over the country made it easy for me to direct my hints other places. I hope you had a good time following my hints. Cheers man!

@BigIronH, you've got to explain Hints 1-3. I know that Michael Brown is from Newark but I was stumped by the references to the Brown Bear and Washington Monument.

I did. I knew that Michael Brown is from Newark but the first 3 hints really threw me!

 

The first three hints were all purposed to mislead you to thinking I was sending elsewhere. That’s why I mentioned other states. Sounds like it worked! I got more direct the farther on I went, hoping you would catch on. Glad you did! I think we are the first confirmed match.

 

Hint #1: I'm not shipping to a point as close to the Pacific Ocean as I did in NBS BIF #14.
Hint #2: I estimate there's a 77.78% chance my target is a Poo-Bah.
Hint #3: My state's flagship university doesn't play my target's in football this season. But they've previously played more than once.
Hint #4: Lots of talk of rivers on this thread. Assuming the delivery truck driver doesn't get lost, on the trip to my target's home my boxes will cross the navigable portions of at least two major rivers and perhaps a few minor ones.
Hint #5: Our son was on the crew team in college and we attended many of the regattas in which he participated. But he never rowed in the crew event located less than 10 miles from my target.

 

Then perhaps as a thank you I will send a small box in retaliation for the big box you sent me…sound about right…

Hint #18 - Your state is one of the two that lays claim to a certian political party.

Previous hints:

Hint #1 - My target lives at a lower elevation than I do.
Hint #2 - My target does not live in the 3 states I've not had beer from (New Mexico, Rhode Island, West Virginia).
Hint #3 - My target does not live in the same time zone as I do.
Hint #4 - I've only been to your state once, on a layover, back in 2005.
Hint #5 - Jerry Reed had a hit song in 1977. Said song really goes well with what we do here. The title of that song tells you which ways I'm shipping.
Hint #6 - I could reach your state by water.
Hint #7 - Apparently my target hasn't had many beers from my state, or surrounding states (as far as I can tell). This will change.
Hint #8 - Your state was part of the original United States.
Hint #9 - I have had beers from your state, and your state is somewhere in my top 20.
Hint #10 - Trillium Brewing is apparently over in Wisconsin now, if you live in the state where it's made, I'm sorry, you're out of the running.
Hint #11 - In 2018 I went on a vacation to a great state, that has a highly decorated WW II era battleship named after it, and said ship sits in a harbor of said state. I took the tour of the ship in 2011, and loved it. Sadly, anyone who lives in this state is excluded. I did enjoy the beers from that state when I visited in 2018, and have had 10 beers from said state.
Hint #12 - I have had the misfortune to have a layover at Newark Airport twice. Sadly if you live in that state, you're out.
Hint #13 - Your state has more Congressional Districts than mine does.
Hint #14 - Your State House, and State Senate has fewer members than my state does. Your Senate has about half mine does, and your House has about 20 fewer than mine does.
Hint #15 - The college I went to - St. Cloud State University - is in the NCHC league for Division 1 Hockey. If your state has a team in the NCHC, you're still in.
Hint #16 - You've not posted as much in this thread as I have. Hopefully you've seen these clues, and know you're not excluded.
Hint #17 - Your state actually fought a war with a neighboring state over where the border lies. No one died, but one was wounded.

There have occasionally been some crew races on the Columbia near where I grew up, but I don't think they were annual events, and, in any case, I haven't lived there for nearly 30yrs, so I don't think this is me.

 

I’m out because you are in a neighboring state. I am second closest if you live in CT, I am closest if you live in Maine and I if you were to live in GA, I’d still be in. You dont live there .
