    Hey advocates, this is a mild and sunny Sunday so far in these parts.

    Another Chimay, I’ve been on a roll with them for a while now… bellow is a photo of a massive chrysanthemum I brought to the grave of my grandparents on fathers side. Impressive and someone at the entrance of the cemetery complimented me about it.

    The reason we associate flowers with funerals and gravesites today is because they were used to cover up the smell of decomposition at the viewing. Just for show today. :sunglasses:

    No bacon, but my wife saved us some bacon fat from ages ago, so I used that along with the ham. Some curry powder whipped up with catsup for a perfect side sauce. Cheers!

    Good day BAs! Lovely 60° this am for dog walk then feeding. Coffee this morning is Revolution’s “Vanilla Deth”:

    Canned 11/3/21. Poured at 56°. Deth’s Tar BBA base rested on split vanilla beans. Boozy 13.6%. A lot of breakfast beer here BAs! Working on notes for NBW while I sip this delicious beer.

    In for a penny in for a pound - Revolution’s “Cafe Deth” (2021):

    Canned 10/6/21. Poured at 57°. Strong coffee nose. Sweet bourbon, bitter roast coffee, bittersweet dark chocolate, caramel and toffee. Hot alcohol exhale (14.8%) boozy warmth in mouth…I drank this batch in January 2022 and loved it! - the coffee was more vibrant, less bitter and the whole was well balanced. Now I’m tasting notes of green peppers and the overall is still excellent, but not as good fresher… if you have this beer, drink up BA brothers and sisters! Cheers!

    Happy Sunday BA's from beautiful 70 degree and sunny NCFL! Temps s/b 60 - 84 for the foreseeable future. Our oldest is on her way back to NOLA after a great visit. Today we have MotoGP from Malaysia to 1330 and then Formula 1 from Austin (COTA) at 1500. It's a great day to be an international race fan. Founders KBS MMA for the opener, the wife is enjoying a white Russian with a bit of screwball in it....
