Got a surprise "gift" yesterday from former neighbors when I was growing up - 2 brothers gave me this lovely Old Town canoe, as their father passed this past week (age 92!), and neither of them are into boats like I am.....I think it is from the late 1920's or early 1930's - waiting to get confimation from a source in Maine.....



not a fan of the yellow paint - that will get changed next spring, as well as stripping the inside of the canoe

I am enjoying Halloween. Texas A&M at Gamecocks was scary.

I kinda dig that song as well. It also happens to be the name of one of the first Ocelot beers I ever had (it's also one of my highest rated by them).

Seems a good way to transition into my only Ocelot (in collaboration with Wheatland Spring) beer that isn't being cellared, and it's even from February of this year. Rumours have it I need to stop by the brewery in the near future.
