Great looking beer! I love seeing The 60s music still going strong. I'll bet you have but if not Check out Hot Tuna- Jorma Kaukonen (guitar) and Jack Casady bass) form the core of Jefferson Airplane. Hot Tuna was different (blues, traditional and more) and were great....

I didn't know that was a thing to do every year with Celebration. It had me like "Nooo!" And was slightly aggravated momentarily when I first seen the spice jokes this year.

Making some pumpkin bread, so this seemed like a good choice....got a short 1 mile walk in with Emma in between rain drops after lunch.....crappy weather day, but got some things done inside - which were overdue!

Your talk of pumpkin bread and seeing all of the posts about Celebration beer being consumed, is really making me hungry.

    Cheers

    Howdy BAs!

Just finished washing my car on this warm, rainy day here in NH. Probably the final hand-washing as the hoses will be stored away shortly.

Taking a break with a Torpedo before getting into some detailing in the garage.

Haven't had this in years and it's better than I remember.

    Cheers!

[IMG] Today's Blind Battle Beer Tasting Lineup:

    1) Breckenridge Oktoberfest (6.0%): An Oktoberfest Märzen from Chicago with flavors of brown bread, brown sugar, and toast. Clean, slightly flat.
    versus
    2) Lupulin Oktoberfest (5.7%): An Oktoberfest Märzen from Minnesota with flavors of earthy bread malt, honey, citrus, and brown caramel. Sweet.
    versus
    3) 3 Sheeps Oktoberfest (5.5%): A Märzen from Wisconsin with strong flavors of toasted caramel, brown bread and sugar. Toasty and flavorful.

    4) Phase 3 Perpetual Sounds (7.7% listed canning date 11/7/22): A NEIPA from Illinois with Mosaic and Amarillo for flavors of cantaloupe, tangerine, peach, and some tea notes. Dry and clean.
    versus
    5) Hop Butcher Interocean (7.5% canned 8/29/22): A NEIPA from Illinois Nectaron and Mosaic for flavors of ripe blueberries and tropical melon. Hints of pine, but juicy.
    (Correctly matched all beers blind)
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Winners/Rankings:

    Märzens:
#1) 3 Sheeps Oktoberfest: My favorite American Märzens of the season. This one stands out with stronger toasted caramel and bread spice flavors than any others.
#2) Lupulin Oktoberfest: A close second here. Similarly robust earthy and bready flavors with some citrus and honey. Packs the flavor and drinks sweet.
#3 Breckenridge Oktoberfest: My top choice in previous years and still drinks very nicely. Strong bread malt, toasted, caramel. Not too sweet. A lot of flavor here too. Still near the top.

    NEIPA:
#1) Hop Butcher Interocean: This one is even better the second time. Tons of Mosaic here. All blueberries and tropical melon. Extremely juicy. The body is top-notch as per usual for Hop Butcher. I try to find a beer to beat these guys and it's not easy.

A good afternoon at PT. Now at the pub drinking Ölōgy’s “Flawed Ideation” a hazy IPA with Citra, Michigan Chinook, and Sabro:

Bright citrus, tangerine and lemon. Juicy with a dry dusty tongue coating. Medium body. A tasty easy drinking hazy. Cheers y’all!

Good afternoon, advocates. Watching an NBA segment on ESPN while enjoying this pint of Saint Thomas from Fieldwork. Juicy up front; great mouthfeel; exceptionally balanced. I'm thankful. Will definitely be drinking more from these guys now that I'm in Cali. Cheers!
