That was five BIFers ago????? Incredible how fast time flies. IIRC, I sent you other Rev stuff. They’re too legit 2 quit - in the running with Transient as my favorite breweries. If I lived as close to them as I do Transient, I’d need to add a second garage onto the house to hold all their beer I’d possess.

Subtle MI references I missed. There is only one BIFer that has had as much Hoppin Frog as me, but he still found new ones I have never seen. I haven't shopped Ohio in a while, but once I go home to Ohio for holidays, I will check out some stores.

I showed up after a long day at work to the porch and the bottom of the box was one thread on the from being open to the elements. Good thing for the all cans and also the trash bag containment. I had to open it upside down.

I like Philly the city, and if I'm otherwise unattached to a team, I'll default to Philly. teams. But, I cannot abide Brycecakes. Fuck that guy.

 

Is the beer Beechwood aged?

 

Is the ABV less than 8%?

 

My final beer from NBS #11...again from @ovaltine. Mike, it took me almost three freaking years to make it through the ridiculous amount of beer you sent me!

Pours a dirty, brownish red with minimal head. Aroma is all funky tart cherry. Taste is tart and acidic, but over the top. Nice earthy funk. Faint cherry. Light bodied and fairly easy drinking. Really enjoying this one.

B. Nectar Meadery's Black Fang Mead with blackberries, clove, and orange zest. This is the first mead I've ever received in a BiF.
And a package of Turtle Rice Krispies with pecans, caramel, and chocolate. Mrs. Mac has already grabbed it.

I think I still have a bottle of that tucked away. I'll have to dig it out, because I love cherries in a sour.
