What was her style dislike that was controversial or uncommon or whatever? (one of your clues was something along those lines)

Pumpkin and smoked are #1 polarizing in the scope of things.

Speaking of smoked I haven't had a grodziskie in years. I bet untappd can help me out.

Is that the place the locals call “Wooster”?
I tried going there once and kept pronouncing it as it is spelled and nobody knew what I was referring to. They have a museum there with medieval arms and armor that I wanted to visit.

It really confuses them when they drive through Ohio where they actually have a Wooster.

    Say “Wuh-Stah”

The Higgins museum closed a few years ago and was atop a hill. They moved the collection to the Worcester art museum . A gritty central Massachusetts town with hills and colleges ( Holy Cross, WPI -the poor mans MIT, Assumption, etc.) and a large manufacturing base & history.

    https://www.worcesterart.org/collection/higgins-collection/

There is a local window company that pokes fun at the local town names

How would you pronounce Assonet?

It is. It's also kind of annoying because of Worcester, NY. Both places look like they should be pronounced: "Wore-chester," but instead you get "Wooster" and "Werster" (roughly).

I really appreciate my sender dropping hints (I occasionally remember who it is!), potentially stringing other people along. They're very fine hints, too! I'm still hoping someone wrongfully calls him or her out, though. :grinning:

Dovetail out of Chicago has an excellent Grodziskie that is occasionally available.

Well, if it's me, nope. Don't feel like digging through the thread to find the the flags, to try to decipher your hints with.

Speaking of Grodziskie, I picked up an extra can of Grodziskie at a brewery in Calgary while on my trip. It’ll be in a box soon. I’m looking forward to trying it as a lover of all beers smoked. Cheers!

Also, I may be able to go out to the car today to get a picture of the odometer and declare a LIF winner.

Well, I would send an official call out your direction, but I've still got one pending on Derek who is either a: busy with life-things and not around presently, or more likely, b: avoiding this thread as a means to torture me specifically and keep my anxiety revved a little higher as I'm stuck in limbo awaiting his response to my official accusations.
So, uh, that's where I'm at with it. In case anyone was curious.
Also, I think I transcribed a few of your flags in the wrong place because it doesn't work out perfectly, but I got a pretty clear flag code of "welcome Juniper Arps, I raise a beer to you" which she appreciates, and the whole bird from Seattle that then went to SF thing applies pretty directly to me as well.
So, you get to be patient as much as I do!
Llamas are known for their patience, right?

I often joke that Wander/Otherlands beer is named for me, Terry The Sunshine. That's a brand new BB shirt, show the backside if you get a minute. More on the way!

I will show it soon! My wife and I both agree it was awesome! I get a kick of that brewery logo on the coozie given your screen name. What a neat coincidence.

Yessssssssss. I am excite! That fish beer was so wrong. We were at Upright Brewing in Portland and my boyfriend got me the schwarzbier since I'm a fan of the style, and I was immediately confused by it. Neither one of us could figure out what was wrong until I looked it up on Untappd. No one has checked this abomination in here on BA, but if you want to see it - https://untappd.com/b/upright-brewing-company-katsuobushi-schwarzbier/4927043

I would have been in North Carolina last weekend, but our plans to attend the Xul Beer Co festival were derailed due to pet sitter issues. We were going to start in Atlanta for a few days, hit Knoxville for the fest, then head over to Asheville, and fly home out of Charlotte. Maybe next year.

Also, @superspak , is it true you've still not had Blind Pig? I see it on wants and not in your check-ins...
