Is that a winter warmer style or a stout?

 

Winter Warmer. The can art is done by the brother of one of our sales guys.

 

Our as in BeerAdvocate or our as in the brewery? FYI. I love winter warmers and am constantly in search of good one. Definitely got some excitement for this now.

What a talented dude! The gas can guitars are totally awesome!

 

Poured translucent amber with a nearly white head that dissipated slowly and left regular lacing.
The aroma was piney and floral and earthy.
The taste followed, the piney bitter definitely leads the way but doesn’t overwhelm the other flavors. Rounding out the taste is malts more earthy than bready and what I am thinking are the yeasts and the floral touches.
The feel was not as viscous as the translucent appearance led me to think. Very easy drinking.
Really enjoyed my second ever Fresh Hop beer, thanks Fred!

Stopped at the beer store earlier. Bought 14 beers. 13 of them will headed towards the mighty Chesaning River, either later today, or tomorrow.

Is it a porter?

 

OOPSIE! I'll only be sending 12 of the beers I bought today. The little pin that holds the pull tab in place on top of one of the cans leaked. Never saw that before. A replacement Johnny Utah will go into box 3.
